Swimsuits.

It feels like every photographer’s portfolio needs at least one swimsuit shoot at the beach. This particular model had a very distinct look, and I knew right away that the editing style would have to match it for the set to really work.

After going through the photos, I decided to push the edits in a more vintage direction. I added a touch of grain, dropped the vibrance a bit, and nudged the exposure up just slightly to give everything a washed-in-sunlight feel. On top of that, I converted a handful of shots into black and white, which really tied the whole aesthetic together.

By the end of the edits, the set looked like it could have come straight out of a 1950’s swimsuit catalog. It had a timeless, slightly nostalgic quality I was aiming for. Clean, stylish, and classic.
